The Counseling Association of Taiwan, commonly known as CAT, is a professional network of school-based counselors, teachers, and administrators who work with high school students in support of their post-secondary plans. Members of CAT must be employed by secondary/high schools in Taiwan and must have college/university counseling as part of their job responsibilities. High schools that are affiliated with CAT typically have students who are eager to pursue their post-secondary plans outside of Taiwan.
The Counseling Association of Taiwan has offered PD sessions to counselors at schools across Taiwan and hosts the annual CAT University Fair each September.
CAT member schools welcome representatives from universities around the world to visit our high schools, engage with our counselors, and attend our events.

The CAT University Fair is an annual event hosted by Taipei American School every Fall. The event typically draws 1,500+ students and families from over 25 international and bilingual CAT-member high schools from across the island.
Students and families are eager to meet with over 130 university admissions officers from around the world to learn about undergraduate admission opportunities.
